Okay, so call me crazy but I was up at 6:15 this morning cause I couldn’t sleep.  And for those of you who don’t know me that well, that is VERY unlike me.  Especially when my kids slept til 8:00 and 9:00!  But, a new farmhouse was on the brain, and after a trip to Home Depot last night, so were cabinets, paint colors, lighting, hardware…you know, everything that you can possibly think about at 6:15.

So, we close on both houses today.  We sell ours and buy another!  It is a bittersweet day but I am getting so excited for the challenge and adventure (as we tell the kids) that lays ahead.  Although my hubby did tell me last night that we may be living with open ceilings for 6 months (an exaggeration right??) But either way, the land is a beaut and I’m so excited for my kids to be able to roam.

We came up with some great plans that my brother-in-law/architect/builder helped us with and I can’t WAIT to show you, or me for that fact:) :)  So again, please hang with me.  I’ll post all of the “before” pictures soon!
